Tag-A-Long Reader Series: Igniting a Love for Reading in Early Readers

Hey there! Happy Monday to you! I just wanted to share how excited I am about the third book in the Tag-A-Long Reader series: Pam Don't Touch That Jam. It's such a fun read that I really think you and your child would love. Personally, I'm having a blast writing these books and can't wait for you to read them all.

In each book, you'll find coloring pages and activities your child will enjoy before and after reading. The whole purpose of the series is to ignite a love for reading in early readers, especially those who are often underrepresented in literature.

It's important to recognize that there are significant challenges when it comes to getting kids excited about reading. For example, during the 2018-2019 calendar year, only 10.5% of African-American kindergarteners met the reading readiness benchmark, and only around 35% of 4-year-old African-American children were enrolled in state-funded preschool programs in 2018.

These troubling statistics show the importance of resources for parents to bond with their child and enhance learning. The Tag-A-Long Reader series is a supplemental resource that can contribute to this effort. Parents, let's work together to ensure our children have access to the tools they need to develop a love for reading.

I hope you enjoy reading Pam Don't Touch That Jam as much as I enjoyed writing it. Let's get our kids excited about reading together!
